In this course, students will explore the engineering design process through the completion of short group projects. Through these activities, they will also learn basic physics principles such as conservation of energy and momentum. For example, one potential project would be mouse trap cars. This assignment would teach the students the importance of Newton’s Laws, friction, energy, and inertia. The completion of these physics and engineering tasks will be a fun and interesting way to introduce the students to high school science and sharpen their problem-solving skills.
